Many homeowners get worried and nervous
when a basement waterproofing project is about to begin.

The reasoning for this is because of the uncertainty that their dreams/vision of a perfect basement remodel will all go to plan.

This type of common anxiety/jitters is counteracted by our companies reassuring and positive outlook on a level that far exceeds any others.  Our clients happen to be our motivation in what we do.

Success in any job is our main priority. Sitting down with our clients and truly taking the time to understand their vision is the most important aspect of the job.  That’s why we come highly recommended from previous homeowners.  We are unmatched when it comes to friendly, clean, helpful staff.

Unfortunately other companies send people out that may not explain all your options to you when coming to estimate your job.  You must feel comfortable with that person to be able to trust them that the job is going to be completed successfully and in a safe manner.  All these issues must be addressed before you commit to any contractor.

Our staff consists of craftsmen with experience that in unmatched.  Our employees have worked in the construction field for over ten years and fully understand local township codes and ordinances.  We also have extremely positive relationships with many townships in the central jersey area.  Good relations with these township inspectors is key in completing a job.  Many companies have tarnished their reputation with inspectors, which is detrimental. This raises red flags when trying to apply for permits and when it comes to inspections.  This in turn could make or break the finalization of a job.

We understand that there will be changes and alterations with any job.  Your ideas and visions may change and that is perfectly OK.  We cater to your needs and if there is an issue with changing certain aspects of the job, we will explain all your options.  This is also a big difference between us and other companies.  We understand these changes and re evaluate accordingly. Many other companies turn sour when the objective is redirected.

There have been situations out of the ordinary with certain homeowners. One time we went to evaluate a basement for finishing and  turned out that the contractor that was previously fired, installed the gas line himself and forgot to tighten the elbow where the pipes met. Gas was leaking as we spoke. The smell was contained because it was up in the ceiling. I quickly ran to the truck and grabbed tools and fixed the problem in a matter of 15 minutes.

Things you have to make sure of , is that the people you hire are licensed to do the work that is going to be completed.  Make sure that you are not signing off on any work that is to be performed on your house. Contractors may con you into doing so. This is a big NO.  We have heard nightmare stories where insurance companies have denied claims for fire or water damage, because the homeowner didn’t pull a permit or didn’t have a licensed professional do the work performed.
